Here we are offering a designer cabochon made from This is a new material for us. It is called shattuckite. It is a rare copper silicate which has chrysocolla, malachite, and a metallic mineral called bornite. I'm guessing the red is cuprite. We think the colors and patterns are wonderful. It was originally found in Bisbee AZ at the Shattuck mine. It was played out years ago. Now the only place it is found is in The Republic of the Congo and is already rapidly disappearing, I'm told. Very rare and exotic.
