Ruby in fuchsite is cousin to the more common ruby in zoisite. It features ruby crystals in the green host fuchsite. Some of the pieces also have blue colors as well due to the presence of kyanite. In fact some of our pieces could more accurately be described as ruby in kyanite. This material is very difficult to cut and polish due the the extreme hardness differences between the corundum and fuchsite. We feel we've achieve a high quality finish despite the nature of the material.
