Carnelian agate from western Oregon is a specialty of ours. This material was dug decades ago from a location that is not well known. After that it was stored in a barn for at least 40 years. The owner of the barn eventually wanted rid of the stones. Now I have them. This carnelian is fun to cut because you never really know what will be inside. Some have fortification patterns running through the whole stone, but many have what is called a "cornflake" which is very cool and pretty much unique to this material.
