Condor agate hails from the Pategonia region of Argentina high in the Andes Mountains. The deposit was first discovered in 1993. We're told the area can only be accessed on horses so only a limited quantity can be packed out at a time. This has become an important agate cuts gorgeous cabs for jewelry and is a must have for every collection.
