The copper mines of the Southwestern United States have yielded a diverse and stunningly beautiful supply of gem materials with many shades of green and blue often containing a different array of minerals present. We like to call this group the copper complex of minerals. But one constant appears to be varying amounts of Chrysocolla. So in our shop we're categorizing many of these under Chrysocolla. Chrysocolla is also now being mined in Peru. In our product listings we will say what we know about the source of these stones. Sometimes we don't, especially when we get uncommon material from estates. One thing is for sure; these colors are outstanding and very popular in the marketplace today. We're seeking quality material of these types wherever we can find them. Stay tuned. Our stock of the copper complex stones will increase dramatically in the near future.
