Whew! Upgrading the website, especially the store, was more than we bargained for. After a smooth start, things went downhill fast. Near the end of the project the whole store, the “database.” crashed. When the dust settled, ALL of the images files of the stones in the store were corrupted. After much wringing of hands our web team concluded that the only solution was (for me) to replace all of the files. So I’ve spend days and days manually deleting each image, locating the original image file and replacing each one manually.
But I’m finished and yes, we are very happy about how the new site looks. And it appears that everything WORKS. So please take a look. And stay tuned, because we will be adding many many new items in the coming days. And please be sure and let me know if you encounter something that doesn’t work…a broken link or such.
